Alan S. Farnham Memorial Scholarship


The Gaylordsville Historical Society is again offering a $500 scholarship in the memory of Alan S. Farnham. Lt. Farnham, who attended the one room schoolhouse in Gaylordsville, died in combat in Vietnam. The applicant must be a Gaylordsville resident who is a graduating senior and lives within the Gaylordsville Fire District. The scholarship is based on the following criteria:

The Gaylordsville Historical Society is also offering a continuing education scholarship in memory of Mimi Burhardt, treasurer and active member of the GHS. Applicant must be a resident of Gaylordsville 06755, to be used for continuing college courses, career enhancement or enrichment course. Open to all ages. Applications from GHS, contact at PO Box 25.Up to $500.
